Binghamton Colony's History:
The smile of a child opened three hearts.
The grey cloud let a ray pass through to strike their minds.
Three souls were touched by a tear
A tear from soft cheeks and eyes of different kinds.

The unease of a glance at sorrow.
The twinge from the silence of a loud cry,
Thirteen other souls heard these whimpers,
With hearts that stopped and wouldn't just pass by.

These sixteen souls, foreign to one another,
Yet bound together by the same tear and smile.
Having tasted the fear in the mind of this child,
They embarked on this journey past minutes and miles.

Calling out to older sisters,
Holding the hands of love and hope,
These souls were instilled with a purpose.
A purpose they were to fulfill, clinging onto fate's rope.

Forks in the road lead some bodies astray.
But twelve souls, still attached, created this family.
This family that wipes the tears and dreams for the child's laugh.
Dreams they make a reality.

This family lives to serve forever, happily.
